Hoist Installer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our Installation team, working remotely on our customers sites.

The Role

The successful candidate will join our installation team operating from our main offices near Peterborough but working predominantly in the field on our customers sites across Northern England. Your duties in this role will include:

• Erecting and dismantling of construction hoists and associated equipment on customers sites.
• Planned maintenance / inspections.
• Operator demonstration in the safe use of equipment.
• Carry out thorough examinations on hoists.
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately in a timely manner.
• Keep service vehicles clean inside and out at all times.
• Communicating with the Service Manager and operations team regarding the status of works.
• Ensure the health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Wear and maintain provided PPE at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be an experienced Hoist Installer / Hoist Engineer with a desire to develop your skills and advance your career, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge of relevant legislation covering the installation and Thorough Examination of construction hoists.
• Ability to work efficiently while under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Valid CSCS card / NVQ 2 or 3 in Hoist Installation.
• Flexible working / unsociable hours, and work away from home occasionally.
• Rescue / Harness / Working at Height Training
